Mike was raised in Dubuque in eastern Iowa. He enjoyed spending many summers boating on the Mississippi River while growing up. After graduation he decided on University of Northern Iowa to further his education. During college Mike took a part-time job painting while earning his degree in business management. Upon graduating Mike moved to a management position at Sherwin-Williams where he continued learning more about the painting industry. Mike aspired to one day start his own company so in 2006 he started Cutting Edge Painting. What started out as a two man crew has grown and developed to what it is today. Over the last 16 years Cutting Edge Painting has emerged to one of the leading painting companies servicing central Iowa. Mike lives in Nevada and in his free time enjoys boating, taking road trips to races and attending live music.
